How are you feeling this evening, Scratch?

Not to bad, weirdly my neck hurts when I swallow and I can't lift any weight with my right arm. Face swelling has gone down a bit which is good.

Don't know if I'm going to go in to work tomorrow yet. Going to get onto the police etc in the morning and try and find out what happened.

I still feel a bit spaced out but I think that's from lack of sleep in the hospital. I had a powernap yesterday and when I woke up and looked at the clock it said 4:42. I was convinced I'd slept all night and it was 4 in the morning. Took me a while to realise it was still only Saturday afternoon.

Just caught the thread, Scratch.

Don't think you should be going to work tomorrow, mate. I think you should get yourself to the doctor's, ask him/her about whether you should return. They can give you a sick note to cover you, and you could get on with finding out what happened, etc.

Hope you and the bike get well soon.

christs sake fella, no way are you within a mile of going to work in that state, your GP needs to see you, anythig might be wrong with you with those symptons, A&E will discharge you as soon as they're fairly sure you won;t dis as a result of being discharged

Write it all and down and get the CTC lawyers started, you've had a serious accident

Also remember to photo everything for evidence later if needed.

Just read this Scratch and sounds nasty. Glad you are on the mend and take it slow. There's no point in causing any further damage by trying to do too much too soon.

Also as above go and see your GP

I've done that and didn't have a blow to the head to blame for it

I agree ... don't know what your work is but how will you get there, and will you be a liability once you are there... you would be much better resting a bit more and if you feel up to doing anything - get the ball rolling with police/insurance etc.

May go against you if you consider yourself "ready for work" too soon. Get your GP to tell you when that is for insurance back up.

I hope you have a speedy recovery mate

Now do you want to remember you dropped your wife off her a few days ago and can you now come and pick her up, she's nagging me to death about the new Muvi I just bought ... I'm sure she belongs to you ;)

Best wishes Scratch

Hi Scratch - just wanted to wish you well too (late checker here)!

Definately sounds like you shouldnt be at work for a fair while yet - would defo advise the trip to the docs above work as others have said especially when memory loss/head injuries are involved!

Get well soon dude, take it easy and I hope all the details become clear soon so you can get everything sorted be it health or possessions etc!
