Born in Stoke on Trent, so take your pick from J.Wedgwood, R.Williams and Lemmy.

Live in Buxton so I guess the bottled water is the most known thing.

Work in Macclesfield but dont have a clue im afraid.

My now home town

Dora Bryan, Eric Sykes, Bernard Cribbins, Philip Schofield, Mike Atherton, David Platt, Paul Scholes, any number of Coronation Street people, a smattering of Emmerdale types, place of birth of Louise Brown, first test tube baby, former constituency of Winston Churchill, but all of that pales into insignificance compared to this.................

Iconic landmark that sadly is no longer there, the coming of the metrolink put paid to needing the rail bridge.

Serial Killers, Black Panther, Yorkshire Ripper, Crossbow Cannibal................

I think Hyde & Hattersley denizens might have something to say about that as a claim to fame. Brady, Hindley, Shipman, Dale Cregan. They've got Stuart Hall on the subs bench & Timmy Mallet went to school there.

Lovely man.
When i lived in West Kent and used to get the early train in he used to get on at your stop. I remember the morning it was announced in the papers that he had be awarded a Michelin star, our carraige stood up and clapped when he got on. Really friendly guy.
