I currently have one of these and it makes reasonable coffee but the basket thing is a bit small so the coffee always tastes a bit thin and lacking a robust body.
Krups Espresso Machine
I like it because it has a very small footprint. Obviously I'd have to negotiate more kitchen top real estate if I changed. I'd also need a decent grinder as the current one isn't fine enough for Espressos. Its fine for the Moka pot. I'd feel silly spending more on a grinder than the machine.
Could be tempted by this.

That's the one I've got. It was 20 quid cheaper on Black Friday and I'd been watching the price for a while.
I like it, it's about at my sweet spot on the coffee quality / faff quotient.
Will see if the price moves in the Prime sale, as I've got a month's free Prime at the moment.
Think there's a pretty good chance. Price has been constant at 299 for last 2 years apart from the same 20 quid drops on Black Friday and Prime Day.

New toys installed in kitchen. Two espressos had so far. Slight heart palpitations from caffeine lol! It's the setup I've always wanted. I'm one happy, slightly wired bunny!!

Welcome to the club, you'll soon be looking at buying a bottomless portafilter to get those even more perfect shots, obsessing over shot times & weights and trying perfect your WDT process .... DAMHIKT.
You've started something now, and you've not even mentioned a PID.
And let's not forget RDT.
Sadly I partake in all of these.
