Clearly they are in the dgaf camp
There's a lot of them about, saw a 5 man chain gang out yesterday, have to say they were very good, inches between the wheels & inches between the riders as they slipped to the back, they were making very good progress.

They might if Dibble pop round in the middle of one of their gatherings... Then again, all bets are off now...

Hopefully it’s just lockdown fever and will calm down soon.

Calling the police isn’t the way to proceed. A chat with the neighbours is what’s needed.

Talk to the neighbours. If negative feedback report to the local council and whoever looks after the stream.

Is there any more news?

Our neighbours in the big posh house, whose extended drive backs onto our small back garden and those of about seven or so neighbours on our estate, moved in about 5 years ago. We knew that things wouldn't be the same when they had an all weekend outdoor disco, and massive fireworks display which started at 11;30pm, to celebrate Bonfire Night and Diwali the first weekend they were in- it was incredible and all the better for being free, though our cat freaked out. They are a lovely friendly family but they have no sensitivity about how loud they can be when the extended family and friends arrive for birthdays, weddings and festival celebrations! It's been very quiet during lock-down though.

The most impressive was when they rented their house and driveway for a 'Bollywood' film crew and actors, with a director and all the glamour, who floodlit the house and drive for a film set and filmed overnight until the early hours... though that was very exciting with bling sports cars revving up and lots of lighting effects and cameras on tracks all over the place.

Unfortunately their dad loves petrol-driven garden equipment and bought a leaf blower last year which he loves playing with.... in the evenings through summer and on sunny weekends he spends hours blowing the grass cuttings off his drive back onto the lawns [after their gardener has mown the grass] or the leaves into piles in autumn which he then burns. We've discussed getting together to buy him a big sweeping brush and a composting bin for his birthday.

Well the situation has gone from bad to worse, the family are using the garden as a country party venue so every evening they turn up with two ill-behaved squealy children and let them run around to let off steam. During this time various cars arrive and depart bringing all manner of friends and relatives and the peace and tranquillity of our leafy neighbourhood is wrecked by squealing kids and shouting men. It's especially bad that they're in the large front garden where the house forms a perfect reflector sending every sound through our open windows. Neighbours two and three doors away have contacted me to ask what's going on. Yesterday we had this from early afternoon right through to 9 pm. We are absolutely at our wits' end.
Whereabouts do you live? Meaning which town or city, not which area of your town or city.

So i'm guessing that your house is in the £275,000 - £500,000 price range and the troublesome neighbours are 'professional' types, probably doctors...or maybe not,but they have a few businesses? Then again by the sound of it,you haven't got that information out of them due to their apparent lack of 'let's do our best to get on with the neighbours' stuff.

They are from a business family and quite young so they have very little understanding of the give and take that's required to coexist peacefully with your neighbours. Once they finish work and move in, things might quieten down as they won't just be coming to enjoy the garden and tire the kids out before bed.

Accy does have plenty of experience with dodgy neighbours.
Social housing seems to be a significant problem.
Decades of it,unfortunately! Though the OP isn't in social housing if he lives in Wilpshire, though they do have old folks housing association flats there...if i remember rightly. Back at my old house when married we had years and years of troublesome neighbours, due to the property's owners only bothering about the rent, not who or what they moved in!
