I don't think there'll be many cricket highlights to distract me tomorrow.

I just thought I'd share a few thoughts about today's first fettle.

I think if I ever attempt this sort of thing again, I'll either buy the correct tools or take it to the LBS. There were far too many opportunities to cause damage to the frame or parts to risk that again.

I'm chuffed to bits to have completed the first phase without any help but I think I may have used up all my credit with Lady Luck.

Anyway, tomorrow is another day. Hopefully I'll be able to fit the bottom bracket, chainset and derailleurs tomorrow (I think I have the proper tools for that) so onwards and upwards.

Time for a nice revivative glass of sloe gin before bed time. Night all, sleep well.
