Popular 90s film "Wayne's World" is actually a Batman prequel, covering the years between Gotham and the first proper Batman film, when Bruce Wayne lived a rock n roll lifestyle on a public access TV show.

The (in)famous German philosopher Karl Marx lived in Brussels in 1845–1847, joined by his collaborator Engels. They drafted and published the Communist Manifesto almost entirely in Brussels. If you visit Brussels, you cannot miss the restaurant Le Cygne located in the Grand-Place where Marx wrote his famous work.

There’s a real course called The Science of Batman at the University of Victoria in Canada.
The course description reads: “The extreme range of adaptability of the human body explored through the life of the Caped Crusader.”

Any takers?

The wunderwaffen - Hitler’s “Miracle Weapon” - was invented completely accidentally. Hitler, as we all know had a sweet tooth, and invaded Belgium and France to take control of the sweet pastry market. He subsequently ordered his researchers to invent “The Ultimate Waffle” - the “wunderwaffle” - but due to a typographical error, they developed the V2 rocket.

Retrospectively described by many as “the world’s first stealth bomber”, this was the first pure flying wing plane to be powered a jet engine. Developed by the Horten brothers, this tailless aircraft with fixed wings resembles a glider and was outfitted with stealth technology, a first for its time. Its sleek design ensured that it would be harder to detect and track with radar than other aircraft since it would have a smaller radar cross-section. Despite proving to be very successful in test flights, this aircraft simply failed to make an impact in the war, as it flew for the first time in 1944.

I think that you have all fallen victim to a common misapprehension. Wunderwaffen was never a thing, it was invented by those pesky historians, derived to hide the creation of Wunderwaffel, which was all about creating the ultimate final dessert to appease Hitler's chronically sweet tooth.

Hitler had no teeth, having had them all kicked in by a Jewish nightclub bouncer.

Eva Braun was intended to be a donor, donating her entire teeth the the fuhrer, but a badly timed game of Russian Roulette put paid to the plan.

Grace O’Malley, born in Ireland around 1530, when Henry VIII was Lord of Ireland. Grace’s father was chieftain of the seafaring O’Maille Clan, who were left to their own devices by the English. After her husband, Donal of the Battle, was killed and his castle captured, Grace raised an army and recaptured it. After marrying a second man, Iron Richard, Grace divorced within a year and seized Rockfleet Castle.

It was some time during her two marriages that Grace took over her father’s role of collecting taxes from fishermen in their territory. Grace became a little more hands-on with “tax collection,” targeting ships to demand cash or cargo for safe passage. Refusal was met with violence and murder. Grace also attacked the fortresses of Scottish and Irish noblemen. Some say that Grace even kidnapped the children of Anglo-Irish nobility.
