When it's Thursday and you're trying to remind someone of something that happened on Tuesday, you usually go with the clunky phrase "the day before yesterday."
But guess what? There's a one-word way of saying that: "nudiustertian."

Of course, given the time it will take you to explain to your friends what the word means, it might be easier just to say "the day before yesterday."

French rugby player Gaston Vareilles missed his international debut against Scotland in 1910 … all because of a sandwich. When the team train stopped at Lyon, Vareilles nipped to the buffet.

But the queue was so long that by the time he returned to the platform, the train was disappearing into the distance.

He was never picked for his country again.

Nambarrie Tea Bags, a Northern Irish favourite for a good strong cup of tea, were originally sold to commemorate boxer Barry McGuigan’s success.

They were named after “Your Man Barry”, with the letters of “Man” cunningly rearranged due to a bitter copyright dispute with The Man from Uncle, The Man from Atlantis, and The Man from The Pru.
