The Professor Umo affair was a strange one.

Umo was an astronomer, but Russell Grant misheard this to be asteologer and had the professor murdered in the mistaken belief hat he would be a rival. This was called the Professor Umo Affair, often shortened the Profumo Affair.

A Fair was where travelling folk used to meet to swap horses, goldfish in plastic bags and tales of Julian Clarey around a camp fire..

Julian Clarey is often confused with Julian Assange due to his propensity for solo activities in the Equadorian embassy.

In Scotland, "GingerBread" is a protected designation. Champagne must come from the Champagne region of France, Arbroath Smokies come only from Arbroath.

GingerBread can only be called "GingerBread" if it is baked by a person with naturally ginger hair. If baked by a person with any other colour of hair - even if dyed - then it is known as "HennaEnhancedBread".

In more affluent areas- notably those served by Waitrose - GingerBread production has practically ceased, with a corresponding increase in the manufacture of StrawberryBlondeBread.

The 1930's were notorious for being the decade that Hitler rose to power.

It was also the decade that Michael Barrymore threw his first pool party.

In many quarters these two facts are not viewed as coincidence.
