Initially I thought, I'm not stuck on any brand for anything, but then I realized...

Coffee...illy
bike shorts...Louis Garneau
bike gloves...Specialized
Tea...PG Tips (bloody expensive over here)
Trainers...Nike
Tech...mostly Apple
Audio... Denon (though their recent stuff sucks, so a change is due)

And one last one...

6 pages and you're the first I've seen mention Apple. Or anything much techy come to it. I don't think "I'm going to buy a BRAND X laptop" it's whatever is best deal at time, may be a little less brand loyalty than, well, cycling gear.

Initially, a decade ago, apple pc's were just flat out built better than any window's pc. Their stuff just lasted longer, both hardware and os. Now it's much closer, I have a couple of Dells pc's that run just as well as the Macs we have. MS really improved their OS and services.

The biggest reason now for sticking with Apple is itunes, after a decade of having an account we have over 100 movies and over 2000 albums accessible from our phones, tv's and tablets. It's so bad now that even though I prefer android as a phone os I'm going to switch over to apple in April so I can reconnect to all our content.
