Sometimes it's the challenge of trying a different method to see if it works that's interesting. Hence my successful attempt at cooking Barm Brack in our Tefal Air Fryer. It looked unconventional due to the shape of the pan but it tasted 👍

The cake is about 10" diameter with the hole in the middle being just over 1". Some sort of cake decoration ( or a shot glass full of Brandy ) would sit nicely in the hole 🥃

Not at all. With pan poached eggs my experience is that the white spreads out and clings to the pan. Airfried keeps it very compact. The ramekin still needs cleaning but imo it's a lot easier.
As I say....it is only my opinion.

Then you're not using fresh eggs. The key to as good poached egg is its freshness.
