Don’t forget that Stonehenge was almost just a pile of rocks. It was comprehensible repaired in the early C20th. Nothing is as natural as it appears.

I know someone who has a pot full of pebbles just inside their front door. They live quite near the beach too in a town that is sometimes below sea level so could use the defense....
