Because the answers they get may be wrong, particularly if they are AI generated. Anybody who posts incorrect information on a forum is quickly corrected.
on some forums correct information is often quickly corrected as well

Well that's me out of eating couscous ever again, unless it's already in a bought salad. I tolerated it thinking it WAS a grain, but now I know it's just a carbohydrate I won't bother.
