Sigh.

Yes, I know the expression.

It’s the reason for the expression. It’s as if they’re this amazing thing that sells out immediately. But I’ve never wanted it. And I am wondering who does.

Why do people ask questions in forums, that they could easily answer via a quick search?

You could have googled that:

"People may ask seemingly simple questions in forums for various reasons beyond just needing an answer. These can include seeking human interaction, wanting to engage in discussion, or not knowing the right search terms or how to formulate a good search query. Some individuals may prefer personalised responses from experts or want to compare multiple answers. Others might be looking for a more engaging or social learning experience than simply reading search results"

Well that's me out of eating couscous ever again, unless it's already in a bought salad. I tolerated it thinking it WAS a grain, but now I know it's just a carbohydrate I won't bother.

That's not a bad thing, I eat a fair bit of Pasta although I cannot abide Cous Cous but then I can't abide Semolina which is the grain it is made from unlike standard Pasta made from Durum wheat or 00 flour I think a lot of people confuse it with Quinoa which is a grain.
