Rapha stop sponsoring Sky

Got an email from Rapha just now, and they are not continuing the sponsorship into 2016. Be interesting to know who Sky will be getting their clothing from next year.. DHB?

Perhaps Raphas prices might drop to more sensible levels now they're not shelling out to pay a team to wear their product.

It's great kit, burly the price is utterly unjustifiable.

Just to be clear, the current sponsorship deals finishes at the end of 2016. So they are sponsoring Sky next season.

Have Rapha dropped Sky or have Sky dropped Rapha? Or have they just agreed not to continue?

It would be nice for Sky to adopt a brand that made the price of their kit a bit more reasonable, might get a few more sales. Not like Team Sky need the money. DHB would be a great call, both for Sky and Wiggle.

My guess is that Rapha couldn't afford Sky's terms for a potential new deal or extension.

At the stage Vulpine are at, they would not even be on Sky's radar.

Considering Rapha didn't make much money considering their turnover I think you may well be right.

No doubt it will be ASSOS, thus making it even less affordable
