It'd be dead ace if they opened one ower 'ere.

I saw this in the article.http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/ribble-cgr-disc-special-edition/
Nice, but it's £1200 for an alloy frame and Tiagra 10 speed.
?website says £949 not £1200?
The lower price is the 'From', which is Sora 9-speed, bog-basic specification

Seen a couple Ribble CGR around my area, they look good ,tempted to get one for winter or wet day rides:scratch:

I did; https://www.cyclechat.net/threads/new-bike-arrived.215425/
I already have one of their 'blue Winter/Audax' bikes, & a Gran Fondo

I'm not such a Wibble fan. That said, my perception is based upon their alloy frames of a couple of years ago and it looks like they've had a full redesign since then, so it might be time to try another.

I almost bought a CR3, but couldn't justify the price, as a commuter, even to myself
Would have been same spec, as my CGR, but, it had to be ordered with a 46/36 chainset - no good to me!!
(would have had to buy another chainset)

Looking at the ex-demo/photographic bike for sale, though, that carbon frame looks lovely

I like my CR1 very much, however as it's my first "proper" bike I do not have much to compare it with. It replaced my aged Trek Hybrid (15 years in the shed)
The beauty of Ribble for me is it's location, I went to their showroom and chatted to the chaps there and chopped and changed the spec to one that suited me.

The other bike I looked at was a Merlin but that came in one spec only. So back to Ribble I went.

They're not light!!

My specification is listed in the link in my above post, & whilst I've not weighed it, it certainly feels a lot heavier than my 'blue'
Yes seen a review on them and they stated they are not the lightest around, weight wouldn't be too much of an issue as I want it for wet and winter rides and i wont be flat out on it round corners, descending and up hill ,just more of a leisurely ride.
