I went out for an 8 mile ride today into the teeth of heavy winds and sleet coming in at 45°.
The trouble is it was at the end of a 20 mile ride which had started out cold but sunny.
If I'd realised that I'd have gone out 40 mins earlier than I did.
I didn't feel badass, just stupid, cold and wet.
Memo to self: Don't just look out the window, check the forecast.
