I think Audrey and Femke could both beat Keely.

Then again, I think any of that trio could win on the day.

Not sure any of them has the legs to get the WR just yet, but I would love to be wrong on that.

Femke's running form is smooth as silk. In the heat she was running at noticeably slower cadence than Keeley and just seeming to glide along.

Quite enjoyed these Euros TBH. It's nice to have a bit of UK interest in most of the events. Hopefully the stadium will be fuller for tonight's session - 800m final should be a cracker.

The commentators seem to have Keely as the winner already. Hope I’m wrong but I go for Femke for gold. Audrey for silver just edging out Keely for bronze.

These kind of races are normally more tactical than going for records.

That seemed to be the case for the first 300m or so, but then it looked more like a flat out battle between AW and KH, didn’t it?

Audrey Werro’s winning time is the Championship record.

The record she beat was set in September 1982, c.10 months before the current WR.
