do you know if shimano tiagra is any good,,,,front and rear deraileur and a pair of brake calipers catching my eye also

Should have also said that I have the 505's on the commuter, which is actually a drop bar CX bike, but I prefer riding it with MTB shoes and recessed cleats

any advice on what are good shoes,im venturing into the cleats world,should be lying down at traffic lights still attached to the bike very soon:banghead:

I use Shimano MT42, which are very good. and not too expensive. With overshoes they are warm for winter commuting. I normally wear size 42 but most folk advise going one size up for MTB shoes so I got 43 and they work well. I use 44 for road shoes.

wheyyyyyyyyyyyy hey....I never fell off with the spd/cleats ...ok I came close,,,that is well better riding with the cleats :bravo:
