Talk you out of it? Yeah, yeah, that's going to happen
What you thinking of?
Slow it down with the revolution of the legs .... Its a skill to say the lest ...I will be riding in London...need to be able to stop...not least because of all the other loons on single speed bikes!
Its a single speed/fixie (flip flop hub)Strange to see a fixed speed with Brake callipers
Press the brake at speed and it will be buckaroo time ... I would of thought ...
Looks the part thought ..
... Single speed with a free wheel ..Its a single speed/fixie (flip flop hub)
Strangely enough my stalled project bike will be a 3 speed (S/A) but with a single speed rear wheel as an option (I've got a spare wheel with a screw on type hub in the shed and it only takes a couple of minutes to remove the S/A hub wheel with the cable and shifter still attached)
Brakes on fixed work fine, you just use them to help your legs slow the bike. Useful in the hilly terrain round here. My fixed/SS (flip flop) has front and rear brakes: -Strange to see a fixed speed with Brake callipers
