What a final, that was RIGHT up there - surprised to hear that only 4 finals have gone to a final frame, felt like more for some reason.

Like most, I was pretty certain that Murphy's experience would get him through, and that Yize would start to falter as the finishing line approached, but not a bit of it - his attitude, and bravery was exceptional, and at such a young age - yes I know Hendry managed it at an even younger age, but still - being in this country for a number of years, and not speaking the language, that must be pretty tough I would imagine.

How Murphy gave the eloquent and humble speech he did I do not know, he played incredibly well and imho, had it not been for him being hampered by the yellow I think it was (roll of the balls) he would have almost certainly had his second championship.
That escape he pulled out just before that happened was, for me, off the scale, both in terms of bravery and critically the execution.

He's still got plenty of snooker years left in him should he want to continue, and personally I think he's got at least 1 more WC in him.
He's probably the player, along with O'Sullivan, and now Yize, I enjoy watching the most.

I've never been a Higgins fan and was pleased when he was beaten - just don't like, and have never enjoyed his style of play for some reason.
That was well before the fake sheikh stuff as well.

Something about just seeming to suck the life out of frames, perhaps (my view)?
