Whereas now the plan was to go to LBG and change (platform 12 to 9 now with more descent and ascent than the whole ride to Southend) to Waterloo East. Are they going to carry my bike down the 24 flights of stairs or just chuck it out of the nearest window? Do i want to find out - or rock up to Vic/12 and do the magical mystery tour around HPC, BP & BB? Decisions, decisions ...
I've always used the stairs when walking but that's not going to be easily done in cycling shoes carrying a bike. Mystified how a 'short' escalator can take me down the same distance drop to Waterloo Road. I'm sure its around 24 flights of stairs. Thanks Ade. I know that way. That's why I don't want to do it. Stamford Street doesn't have pizzazz. Just artics.See my advice to Roubaix Cube up there? Get off at LB and follow the relevant bits of that.
