Still front brake first - ?

I use a special braking technique for the front. I use an inbuilt sense called "Feel" when I apply the front brake. This unique superpower has allowed me to apply the front brake without ever going over the handlebars, even during an emergency stop.

It's a shame so few others seem have it too.

When I started riding again in 2013 I almost exclusively used the back for the ‘over the handlebars’ threat I thought the front brake held.

That was until my rear twitched like hell doing 40mph down a hill near Dorking with a car close behind me. The feet became unclipped and I adopted a legs-out Some Mother’s Do Ave Em panic position and came to a stop.

Since then I’ve almost exclusively used the front brake with only slight feathering on the back on steeper hills.

Works for me anyway.
