Obviously an Aubergine
That, I know is a fact.

My Nan told me that when I was little.

My nan was a bare faced liar too.

She told me my hair would curl if I ate up my toast crusts.

Several decades later of assiduous chewing...

Merely wavy..

Still - it's kept my jawline firm.

So there is that I s'pose..

🤔

Where did this come from?? I've heard it a few times (but never round our family tables); I assume it's just another bribe/threat to make kids eat everything. Fine. But curly hair?? Usually there is some sort of science (or at least folklore, inherited wisdom) behind these things. (Fruit DOES help prevent scurvy!)
Is curly hair a longed-for attribute amongst girls? Or is this a generational thing - the influencer types seem to prefer looooong straight hair in the magazine pics I see.

Anyway, sorry, back to chain-tools and inner-toobs!

Like most of us, we tend for long for that which we don't possess ..

But it's OK I'm over it now.

And have come to terms with my tresses..

I don't bother my hair..
It doesn't bother me
