This is a huge photograph on the wall inside Cullercoats Metro. Looks like it's meant to be some kind of red carpet affair at a different station, but it's gone quite wrong by the state of the carpet and the track. Most of the Metro art has a plaque explaining what's going on but I was in a rush so didn't look. Next time!

That is strange @AndyRM, like they put it down for the Queen but she never showed, but they're still hopeful she may come......or possibly its a sick joke advertising campaign as Southern Rail say they are rolling out the red carpet treatment for their customers^_^

If anyone can make pigs fly its Dyson I suppose. Good spot with the sign. I remember seeing a no entry sign near Angel a few yeas ago that had been converted so it looked like to a man carrying a plank, I'll have to go and see if its still there.
