You're right, it totally doesn't.

I have a great affection for the county of my birth, and the side of the family which originated from there.

But I find that

"I know what I like ; and I like what I know"

kind of attitude, which comes off some of its sons (see Geoffrey Boycott and his ilk)
Deeply unappealing. :stop:
So, he resists being drawn into the casserole of uncertainty?

Oh yeah, pre owned or pre loved.

What's wrong with second hand? Used I could tolerate.

Losing out an about 20% mark up.

And sometimes these stupid names can give way to great understanding. I got dragged to the shops earlier and as we drive past Burger King I saw an advert for a Black Angus - I thought it was a Scottish porn star, but Mrs D assures me it's a burger.

Do you fry them in lard?
"In a small bowl, mix the oil, paprika, salt, pepper and ground cloves (if used).
Pour the oil mixture over the fries evenly and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Make sure the tray is not overcrowded and use two of them if needed.
Cook for 25-35 minutes (it depends on how thick you cut them)."
