Cracking a solo.
The vast majority of my riding is extended commuting, I work 7 days a week and commute back and forth for 6 of them, Sunday is my rest day.
Now, following my ride home on Saturday I was top of the leaderboard for elevation gain on the Strava CC Club, on checking this morning I've been pushed down to 3rd. Could you please, if you have to go out for a ride on Sunday, try to keep it a flat one so that I can win.
Many thanks for your time

Well they're obviously ignorant enough not to consider my feelings, so I don't expect they wave to each other either, some people have no social skills and waving, nodding and saying hello to fellow cyclists should be made compulsory.

Get your penny jar ready!

Hang on...<counts fingers> that's quite a lot of work days in a week... Solution is to cycle the 7th as well I reckon. On a hilly route. Simple.
One of the downsides of being self employed.
It's an option, or I could do more hilly routes on the 6 days I already ride. My preferred option is that other people should stop being so competitive and just let me win.

Talking of Sunday rides, I went out yesterday and must have passed over 200 cyclists, none of whom said hello to me.

You passed 200 riders in your clapped-out Mini!?

I spent Sunday riding up and down my 20ft driveway for six hours to get 1st on the leaderboard for elevation gain on the Strava CC Club (whatever that is or may be)

According to Google all of these towns (Alston, Buxton, Camelford, Hanley and Shaftesbury) claim to be the highest above sea level in England, if you moved to one of them would this help with your problem?

That's a possibility, maybe I could just not be a lazy arse and cycle to one per week instead, that'd do it and unless @IanDuke plans on taking a similar trip every week I may be in with a shot.

Given that you claim you ride 6 days a week, I would have thought your Strava efforts would blow part time sunday nobber pro riders efforts out the water as you'd be so fit and they are not. You are not as fast or as strong as you think. Of course the sunday riders could also be working a 6 day week like you except that they have a day off during the week.
