The way I see it is that I have to wear my scars for the rest of my life and I didn't get any choice with the location/style/depth/extent/size of those but I can choose my own tats, so what's the issue?

Tattoos may be OK whilst you are young and with a good figure. I wonder what they will look like in 30 years time when things begin to wrinkle and sag.

When I'm old, I won't be worrying about what my tattoos look like. I'll be worrying about pi$$ing on my slippers.

My youngest daughter (21) had wanted a tattoo for ages and whilst I was okay with it, was a little concerned as to what she may come back with. She had all sorts of ideas but wouldn't tell us what she was having done.

I was working away when I got a text with a picture attached


It translates as "My Inspiration" & my date of birth.

I don't mind admitting it brought a tear to my eye.
