I am hoping that Renard will pop in later. I can ask him about teddies doing "Zip wires". :?:

I have been invited to a picnic next Sunday, and part of the entertainment for big kids is teddies doing zip wire runs off a local Tower, about 200 feet tall.

Last time this was attempted, my largest Ted, Ben, was a spectator at the top of the tower, but he over-balanced  and fell to the ground. This was unfortunate because when he returned to the top of the Tower, he was too concussed to speak to the Camera Crew from local TV, so he is silent throughout the interview, which I recorded on Video.

Renard may be able to give me hints as to the best position for Teddies to achieve speed on zip runs. They will be doing it in groups of five and the fastest wins.

Hi Speicher!

If you're trying to get a Teddy to go quickly down a zip wire, lead may be your friend here;). Unpick a seam, in with some heavy metal, sew sew sew, job's a good'un.

Kiddies - cheating is bad, mmmkay?:?:

Doc, I don't think you mean sew, sew, sew, I believe you mean, hem, hem, hem! *where is Groucho Marx wiggly eyebrow smiley when you need one?*

Alternatively a childs suit of armor from around the 14th century ought to work!!

:becool:

Oops, almost forgot!

TEA!

Unfortunately, cheating is out of the question. There will be a lot of people there from the local Abbey and lots of Sunday School children. If I cheat and am found out, it would not look very good would it? :becool::ohmy:

My tea's gone cold rather quicker then it should have done!

No spoon. Same big bucket mug, Earl Grey bag brewed with boiling water, no milk or sugar, then made my sandwiches for tomorrow's lunch and my brew was tepid! Normally it is fine and still steaming.

Maybe it is because I brewed it yesterday!

That'll be it then!

I had a cold tea moment today.
I was engrossed in sorting out the 240v electrics and just wanted to stop and have a cuppa to sooth my brain but carried on sensibly until the job was done.

So what did I find on the table when I went thru into the caravan?
One flagon of stone cold tea!!
Mrs. T had made it for me an hour before but I hadn't heard her shout out.
It had been there all along. :becool:
