I have high expectations Bill:okay: just keep snapping at his heels and don't let him get away.

I'll do what I can Bob. LB doesn't usually partake on a Saturday so my aim is to try to beat his Thursday time. It won't be easy but should be possible if I can stick with AAAC. Hopefully some others joining the party too?

I have been double booked by the family and won't make 5 o'clock today.
If I was riding I don't think it would be anything monumental as I am full of cold (or possibly terminal flu) so it may have been a blessing.
I will ride it tomorrow regardless once the Amstel Gold has finished (and I'm not talking about beer in my fridge).

Have fun without me at 5 and don't put too much effort in as I wouldn't want anyone setting a goal that is too taxing for and old(ish) git who has/is recovering from terminal flu.

I'll be there at 5 Bill - can't promise AAAC levels of speed (obviously!) but I'll stick with you and do some stints in front for as long as I can!

Good man Paul. I think our goal should be for us to stick together until the end as that's our best chance of a fast time. And of course anyone else who is up for joining. @Add You joining us tonight?

I'll be starting the session at 5pm with 10 mins warmup. It's Maine Bike Rally Biddeford Time Trial.
Look for it in the Live Tab as usual.

That looked like fu..:stop:......n, no no no, it looked like it hurt :B). LB, Bill and Bridgy going for it at the front :notworthy: :boxing::bravo::boxing::bravo:. Sorry I could not be there. Although I would not have aided the train

Edit to add

TT was doing ok until bill arrived in the group. Then it just went bonkers

@TurboTommy Excellent effort there :okay: I see you are mastering the high cadence technique  Nothing like at bit of drive to spur you on. Tommy you held onto the first 3 for ages before slowly falling back. Excellent time, I doubt I will get near that time:wacko:

Cheers andy

I actually think you'd have a shot at beating that. I got off well but suffered for it later and I think a more measured effort would give a better time. If I'd of stayed with the lunatics any longer I would of died on my @rse and even backing off I was running on empty at the end.

Thanks for the drafting LB & Bill & Turbo Tommy for a while too. I was chuffed to be able to stay with you for so long this time - lost you when it got to the "every man for himself" stage with just under 2 miles to go! Looking at your times Bill & LB, it appears it was only me that benefited with a (slightly) faster time - hope I wasn't holding you up

After getting my breath back I had a little crack at the bonus stage too - think I might have to try that again with slightly fresher legs though!

Great effort there from Bridgy and Tommy. Your start was unexpected TT but maybe your earlier comment spurred you on. I wasn't feeling so good today so had to start a bit slower than usual and then it was all about power management to keep something for the endgame. I think Lars realised his time wasn't under threat so decided to just let me have that one.
Didn't expect you to drop off the back so close to the finish Paul. I thought you'd be in the race to the line. Probably next time.

Decided to have a bash at the Bonus sprint and really didn't expect it be that tough - should have known better.

Thanks @kipster for the encouragement which reckon saved me about 30 seconds, as I was suffering throughout.

I adjusted my weight in my profile as I've managed to lose a few more kgs - still a way to go though but getting nearer the 100 kg mark

Could one of the admin approve my time please as I've got the dreaded red cross - Cheers.
