Great effort there from Bridgy and Tommy. Your start was unexpected TT but maybe your earlier comment spurred you on. I wasn't feeling so good today so had to start a bit slower than usual and then it was all about power management to keep something for the endgame. I think Lars realised his time wasn't under threat so decided to just let me have that one.
Didn't expect you to drop off the back so close to the finish Paul. I thought you'd be in the race to the line. Probably next time.
Yeah, can't quite remember how it happened but once the elastic was broken there was no way I could get back to you two - I was working pretty hard even when we were drafting together and although I was only slightly faster and drafted with you for much longer my HR and watts were up on last time so I really didn't have much left in the tank by the end. Gradually improving though

Also I think I'm starting to get the hang of slingshots - I even out slingshotted (new word invention) you once

Sorry - correction - my watts were well down on last time as you'd expect with the drafting. I've started talking nonsense so will shut up now!

Yes, that didn't go un noticed. I slungshot first but shortly after you and lars shot past me at a rate of knots. I think I may have even avoided on or two as part of my drive to keep my watts as low as possible.

Good race this afternoon, I didn't get to see the finish, but the work of the three out front was fun to watch.

I was going to ride stage 1 as it is supposed to close today, I didn't make it (feeling lazy), so have scheduled it for tomorrow. Fingers crossed bkool's timing is out and it lets me do it for the league.

Decided to have a bash at the Bonus sprint and really didn't expect it be that tough - should have known better.

Thanks @kipster for the encouragement which reckon saved me about 30 seconds, as I was suffering throughout.

I adjusted my weight in my profile as I've managed to lose a few more kgs - still a way to go though but getting nearer the 100 kg mark

Could one of the admin approve my time please as I've got the dreaded red cross - Cheers.

It's quite nice to be sat watching people suffer and telling them to pedal harder!

Good work though, I also found that stage harder than I thought it would be, I will have another crack at it next week.

Well done guy's for not besting Thursday's time (I assume).
I'll be sure to take an extra Day Nurse in the morning to dry the lungs out before I get go.

I had a go at the bonus stage too today - very hard on the lungs. Set myself a time that I can try and chase down in the week. I did ride 2 directly afterwards so not 100% fresh but still pleased I did it under 40 mins
