Good that is exactly what I was trying to achieve, now bloody well slow down. You can cut out that going fast crap too @TurboTommy!!

Hahaha!

Bollox! Unlike bridgy I've got no qualms about kicking a man when he's down!

Besides, its you're own fault for putting work before bkool :headshake:

More on Watts (Cavendish on Paris Roubaix and he is not a big man):

Cavendish coughed from the dust, his hands showed blisters and he said that he had “sore balls” but wanted to do more.
“I wasn’t on early duty and we missed a group of 20, so I did the biggest watts of the race to get over to that. 1400 watts to get over to that. Two big sprints, and I thought, ‘I’m going to pay for this later.’ But we had to be represented in that move,” Cavendish told Cycling Weekly.

Hugely impressive isn't it? I remember an interview with him when he said he's not the most powerful of sprinters and relies on his high cadence - the most powerful sprinters he said could produce 1900 watts in a sprint

Cav is one of those Marmite people, me I love him, all be it he should learn to keep his tongue at times (and I think that he is now maturing).
His days of winning sprints are not over but he is no longer the undisputed king.
I would really like to see him develop into a classics rider or a puncheur.
After watching the British National Championships last year it is self evident that he can do more than just 'sit on' and sprint.

Probably no ones had enough beer. If we had we could have discussed the pros and cons of leg shaving and perhaps tried to persuade Rick to shave his for a little extra speed.

Missed that Bill.
Are you suggesting I assist as a co-'groomer' for you.
Ski let it be said that I have no intention or desire to be involved in the grooming of anyone and it appears that the defendant, Mr BillS, is attempting to blacken the reputation of other Site members.

Edit, Please remove 'blacken' and insert 'undermine' for HR compliance.

I think thou doth protest rather a lot when it comes to this grooming malarkey
But anyway, it's all in the rules. #33 if I remember right. I thought it would be almost rude not to in modern day time trialling circles.
Whether grooming would actually be required before the shaving commenced is another matter of course ;)

I think Lars realised his time wasn't under threat so decided to just let me have that one.
Not at all ^_^. Normal sprints (well, Bkool sprints anyway) are difficult for me, since I have to be very controlled and make sure I don't go too fast, or I'll get "half-speeded". So I had planned ty try and make a breakaway on some of the bumps at the last part of the stage, but I somehow managed to screw that up, and when I woke up you where too far ahead with less than 600 m to go.

I have the same problem in the bonus sprint stage. I have to stay almost 20 kph below your first slingshot, so I have find a way to make up for that in other parts of the stage. Havn't given up yet :ninja:.

I'd find that really frustrating Lars. Have you been in contact with bkool about it?

Did Stage 1, looks like its registered in the league, thanks to bkool for messing up closing times!

I found it a real struggle for the 1st half of the ride, but eased into it. Most of the ghosts beat me, and sorry Stuart, you were 23 seconds ahead at the start of that bump at the end, I didn't think I would catch you, let alone get 10 seconds on you.

I don't think early morning fasted rides suit me.
