Wahoo kickr snap ordered, should be delivered tomorrow, but I wont get a chance to set it up until after boxing day. Not sure if i'll make a ride tonight or not, buffet day in the office and I've already eaten too much and there is a whole afternoon to go!

I've had to cycle 16 miles to Greggs to help to burn off pre Christams excess eating:tired: tired now for tonight:sad:

So you've eaten too much, but to justify eating more (from Greggs) you cycled 16 miles to one (or was it 8 miles each way)? If so, top marks :hungry:

AAAC I'm quite disappointed in you that you'd put the happiness of your family ahead of competing in the chaingang but fingers crossed that you'll be able to keep them out of your pain cave for just one extra day. It'll probably need that extra day just to let the air freshener get to work so you could always use that as an excuse.
I am however quite proud of you for picking the cheapest possible blinds, which is exactly what I'd have done under the circumstances. Recently when you lot were talking about having new kitchens fitted and figures like £5000.00 were being mentioned (you could get a really nice bike for that) I had to stop reading as the stress was too much. I couldn't (and still can't) understand why a nice second hand kitchen off of ebay for £100 wouldn't suffice perfectly well.
Not quite sure I'd like vertical blinds at home though. It'd make the place look like my office :rain:.

im on tonite

kitchen only 5k i wish

hi Geoff, i believe you are the 'man' to deal with membership requests to CG and MG groups, i posted an intro/request earlier (pp1916) and have since asked to join on BKool's website, my user name there is now srs52 (formerly steve), is there anything else i should do (assuming my application is not declined ;) ) , no rush to deal with this as i'm travelling this afternoon and not back until Jan 2nd and unfortunately have no room for my bike/trainer, buy a bigger car i hear you say - maybe next time

buy a touring bike

Sorry Steve, missed your post. Fortunately AAAC quoted it, so you're now in both groups/leagues. :welcome:

Thanks aaac, managed to hit the wall and recover a bit. Bloody ibs left me too dehydrated today and I really felt it. Good battle on those hills, I managed to stay close enough but knew the last one you would break away!
I take it there is no race next Thursday then?

Edit: I may have won gc but I ran a course again and saved time and I think you won all the cg events so the win is yours Sir.
