Rode WC 6 tonight ... I'm on the first page of the ride so far  Clearly won't last long once the big guns have a pop. Anyway, it's quite a nice ride. A couple of climbs that will suit the goats, a nice descent, and a couple of drafting opportunities. I didn't push myself too hard so could probably knock another minute or so off my time. I can see the likes of @Breedon doing well on that particular ride :okay:

Bask in the glory while you can.
It's a shame the GC does not update quicker as if someone did a real bad ride you could fly up the rankings.

If GB puts a team in it would be a shame if you couldn't do it AAAC as I reckon you're the unnofficial UK champ! The 3 back to back would be tough for sure but you'd have to pace it accordingly I guess - and it would be the same for everyone. To be fair, I appreciare Jacob would want to make it particularly challenging so the winners were worthy of the title!

I would be interested in doing it if I was deemed fast enough to make the team - I too would have some challenges with getting 3 hours free on a Saturday as I am usually running around the country taking my son to football matches but I'm sure I could find a way

I am really happy to do it on a no frills friendly basis but I have a feeling I might get vetoed.

My wife has been suffering from a 'syndrome' for over 6 months now and it has,up until today, not been diagnosed (by several specialists).
Today a specialist at the hospital put a label on it which at first I thought would cheer her up.
However her GP is not happy with the diagnosis (yet) and so any course of control will not commence yet.
I say control because if it is what it has be 'labelled' as there is not cure only control.
As a result I am not of a mind to do anything that might P her off any more than she already is because of the medical thing.

Anyway if it is down to Cycle Chat to put a team together then I would love to take up the challenge as a 'team player' i.e. help the team get the best placings they can.

Where is DP at the moment as he must be up for a place as well?

Also it would be nice to know what the stages are so we can pick the most appropriate team.

PS. Anyone know an E-Bike supplier that might want to sponsor us?

Sorry if this is covered elsewhere but has anyone experienced high watt output with a pro on Zwift initially, for it then too drop by around 33% 15-20 minutes into a ride with no noticeable change in resistance almost like it's calibrated itself?

Don't worry aaac, DP is back and I have been following the thread (I've been away with work over the last few days).
My issue with Jacob's proposal is that I'm OK at a one hit session but really incapable of longer (multiple sessions) or indeed anything where there are hills let alone a mountain stage. It is possible that I can cut my weight by around 5kg in the next 5 weeks but that will still leave me at 95kgs, and that means no ales or snacks for 5 weeks :mrpig:

'Zwift'!
Stone him and banish that man to the wilderness for 30 days and 30 nights!

Any thing else to add from Bob or any of the other BKool 'splitters'.

Saying that my subs are up in Feb but I suppose I have now got to stay on board for the 'Nations Cup'.

Jacob weighs in at 98 kg so that is no excuse.

Bob the splitter here:tongue:

I didn't notice that when I had a pro. I did notice bkool sometimes seemed to hold resistance from an earlier ride on Zwift if I forgot to turn off the power supply to the pro. Or was it the other way around:wacko:

Well basically this http://www.zwiftpower.com/race.php?id=2780
The FR shows -33% which apparently means the latter part of the race was that %lower intensity compared to the first. There was no noticable change just a whole bunch of bloody hard work
