Valverde did well today in Volta a Catalunya
Froome did well also considering as it was his European debut for the season.
Geraint might need to pull up his socks for the GDI this year.
But
None of them are as quick as Pep
And
I look better in Lycra than all of them!

Second in a World Tour Mountain Top finish when he was playing a supporting role to 'G' and some dippy in the Cycling News discussion says:
"The white shoes and socks look wrong!"
followed by:
"I know, isn't it terrible, ffs!!
then
"looks like he is going to the ballet"
then someone says
"Yup, he danced away from Alberto at the finish."
well said Sir!

White shoes and white socks are way classier than black and black but who really gives a hoot if your first across the line or even second or third.

The herring I get is for halibut bait for the coming year. The commercial fishery is for roe for the Japanese market. Yesterday's catch was 5000 tons in a 15 minute opening. The total this year is 15000 tons so they will have another opening
