AWOL again!
Just been riding a bit on the Island of Magnus Cort (Astana), and it is fantastic bike terrain here.
Cort recommends some routes here

, and I tried out "Bjergmesterskabet" today, which means "the mountain championships". Now, it seems it's also a race and it has it's own segment on strava.

An old acquaintance pops up high in that list: Jackob Skovsgaard and his time is 1.5 minutes faster. My effort for that segment was not 100% race pace, but not far from.

. Not knowing the route I started the first climb a little conservative but would have thought my 20kg advantage would at least been enough to match you time. Comparing our rides shows a massive time loss right after the most difficult part of the first climb. I guess it's your massive power coming into play when the climb flattens. I lost 1 minute from there to the first descend, which is less than a km

Froome = pure grit
That was monster today. Seeing two Brits battle for the win was pleasing. Froomey suddenly comes to form, and Yates has to work hard for the first time this Giro. Tom D is not giving his title up easily though is he ... the final week is going to be entertaining.
