Thought I could claw a bit back on climb but to be honest, the downhill one was lucky I stuck to a bot else I would have lost a load more time there so a fair result - in fact more than fair for me - I know lightweights have an advantage going uphill and I can’t keep up with Keith or Andy let alone you so all in all I am walking around like billy big balls bassett at the moment - can’t see it happening next month 😁

I've just looked at the rules for the bike week and noticed I'm in the tour of gran canaria part of bike week and get a timing chip and can be eliminated if I'm struggling! I thought it was a social with cafe stops 🤡

That, have no idea about gear ratios but my mate said that will be fine riding up mountains

That is nice. I like yours better but you won't have to worry about lugging it through airports.

That's what I hope. I have a good sprint from football days and I'd prefer to spin rather than grind. Might do this...

Do it! I looked at the specs on your Emonda sl7 etap and I think you'll have 1 more climbing gear - on yours 10- 33 vs rental 11-34

I got up 33% with 38/29 by accident
Just ( not spinning though )
