OK I have my proof.
Thanks for another great League. But can you wait until my ride registers for Skenes Creek. I need to take a screen shot of one stage where I finished ahead of LBHIFI.
Thanks Bill for the hills, I didn't do as well as I wanted. I should've completed all 6 but was tired this afternoon after a weekend away in Leeds and the 490 mile round trip drive. I had my eye on 6th place, but it would've been close and I needed a good time on the stage I didn't do, and eat too much over the weekend.
Well done to the podium finishers, and everyone else in the standings
I put in a late ride on Aspin tonight, knocking off a couple minutes from my prior attempt. Might be enough to move me up a spot in the middle of the pack :-)You did indeed beat LB on that stage Randy, although the result came in after the end date of the league. However, admin has the discretion to approve such rides so I have, and will do so for anyone putting in a late ride as long as bkool allows it. I think last league bkool booted out someone mid ride because the league date ended and they didn't even get a result. Bkool doesn't seem to be very consistant with this.
If your result makes it through to the main league results tomorrow Randy, I'll post up some "Accepted after end date" results and we can see if there's any differences. I think there's a few who put in some late rides.

If you're using a bkool smart trainer (pro or classic), definitely better to soft pedal slowly and save your watts for the flats and especially climbs.
The best technique is probably to pedal hard at first, until the speed turns blue (indicating that you are free wheeling faster than you are pedalling), then just turn over the pedals slowly to keep the session active and get your breath back. If the speed starts to fall back then you can always get back on the power.
When you are travelling very fast, such as on a steep descent, wind drag increases exponentially and it takes a lot of power to increase speed even a little, it's really not worth wearing yourself out. Conversely, when climbing slowly, every extra watt gives a decent return, so save your effort on the down hills.

I have thought about getting a kickr for the hills so no slipping of the back wheel.
Hi Baigu,I've been following this thread for over a year! Just bought a TAcx Vortex Smart and signed up for Bkool premium.
Can I join one of you leagues? Im from Canada therefore might not be able to make the group rides!
Check out the new bkool faq it's in thereCan someone send me an invite to the mountain goat league, I can't seem to find it
Yes, and you changed jersey color too. CongratulationsView attachment 111407

I was planning on doing the rest yesterday, but I'm really struggling to find the time.Next time Kip! Getting the rides in can be half the battle I know, and there's been a surprising amount of activity today from people trying to get their rides in. On the plus side the Mountain Goat format allows all stages to be done once they've started up until the league finishes.
