I've still got your cold Kipster....how long does it last?I could do 8pm, just means I won't get to eat my dinner until 9pm. I can't eat before a full on session, well not more than a banana.

Next time I am putting my fan behind me for some back wind help
Well, I don't even get how you do 300 Watts. The amount of power needed for me to do that, would be the equivalent of a solo ride on my race bike cruising at 40 kph (24.85 mph). I can't keep that up for too long.
Only a week max, you need to sweat it out on the turbo, be sure to have a lemsip or two, they dull the painI've still got your cold Kipster....how long does it last?
Did my first real climb today on my Pro'd Classic.(Ovaro Zoncalon)
I'll have to stop calling it a Classic now because it is really a Pro now all be it still at 3.01 (and no sign of any firmware upgrade prompts) but certainly made from better parts IMO.
All though I didn't beat myself up today being so close to all the effort of two Chaingang handicaps it didn't take me long to spot the differences all be it I don't know how current they are with 3.06.
Slope transitions with blue numbers occur even at slower speeds when in reality the gradient would impact you almost imediately so you get some extra speed all be it reducing for a fair amount of time.
Not sure where the slope limit is set but my speed and resistance on the 18% + was the same as that for 11%. I'll have to set me a session up to validate this with the slope increasing from 1% thru to say 20 1% steps at 500m per step an see what the speed graph does at a steady wattage and then up my weight in steps and do it again.
If you look at poeple stats for the
The fact is that the trainer is well able to simulate really steep slopes by they ham limited it through the firmware
On the liam ride...that 9% grade in the middle....you can see it coming but I get maybe a second of effort from the leading in grade even though 9% shows in the scale then bang it hits. I am 85kg and it stops me pretty quickly enough that I have to be on the 39 ring before the 9% hits or I am pedalling so slowly under so much pressure that I cant change without a lot of banging and clanking with zero mechanical sympathy.
My problem is just kids! They are in bed by 7:45pm, so 8pm just gives me a bit more freedom.
I'm a wimpy chippy mate. Try and scuttle indoors at the slightest breath of wind or threat of drizzle......doesn't always work like that mind you!us builders are suppose to laugh in the face of colds and smirk at the flu - get your trowel in your hand , run the line and smile
Chose a nice easy one to get the ball rolling then....in the giro they struggled like mad up there
At that precise point yesterday Windows asked me very helpfully with a full screen message if I wanted to do an update. Screaming NO at it didn't really help.Same problem I had yesterday ... I forgot to change down to the small front ring when I hit that 9% and couldn't then change easily as I crunched my way up it![]()
