still 3 minutes off Bill's time, which kind of puts everything back into perspective really!Adam. Its looks like you are the man at the moment.
Top dog>
Hey Bobinski, you and I went up a level too! Congratulations mate, glad we didn't both bail at 30.01minutes now?
Your 3 I'm 20 or 25. Dont forget they use the dark forces of gearing and psi's and on/off stuff.still 3 minutes off Bill's time, which kind of puts everything back into perspective really!
Did the best I could but just can't get the power down the same on the lesser hills! Well deserved win man!Rick, tbh, if I hadn't got that bit of a jump on you at the start, I'd never have held you off. Once I had the 30 seconds on you, I just pushed real hard when you did, and tried to maintain the lead. I couldn't give anymore, and you'd hit an incline as I was coasting downhill, and get a big leap on me, which was worrying. Helluva race mate, wouldn't have got anywhere near that time without you snapping at my heels. Well done mate!
We should make that the next handicap?
Definitely wasn't easing into it.I bet the annoying thing for you Rick, is I'm sure you could have given a bit more at the start too, looked like you were easing into it a bit. Probably thought I'd blow a gasket at some point? I certainly thought I was going to. Average HR is a PB, but not in a good way!
I,ll telll you when I can breath properly again...well done! Couldn't take my eyes off the 3 of you at the front.
Breedon, top race! God you pushed me.
Had there been a few more level, or very shallow inclines, you would have cooked me. I stood up for 95% of that session. Only sat down to drink, roll downhill and moan.Did the best I could but just can't get the power down the same on the lesser hills! Well deserved win man!
Does put it in perspective that Bill did that in 51 minutes.
Was worried I'd burnt myself out early when Bill came past me around half way but guess he's keeping reserves for tomorrow's run!allowing me to get past again.
I JUST like real steep, that is the only place I can put decent power down.Definitely wasn't easing into it.The start just didn't suit me. I like it flat or real steep. None of this in between palava.
actually thought I'd went out too strong!!
Really? Couldnt be at that!! My legs start to burn real quick when standing plus the tyre slips a fair bit so I just stand for very short periods every so often to get a quick change of position.Had there been a few more level, or very shallow inclines, you would have cooked me. I stood up for 95% of that session. Only sat down to drink, roll downhill and moan.
