Got to watch out for an active 2 rider @95kgs. Could be rather fast on a chain gang ride with all that power. So don't go too easy on him Geoff![]()

Nothing like giving me an easy intro ride

Stage 4 is quite deceptive in a good wayI like the look of the Chaingang League this month Rick, a real mixed bag there.
You can have my spot. I'm not going to be able to make it today. This work really does get in the way of my Bkool. I just made active 2 and am 92 kg.Ta

Bill, please keep making excuses. I'm waiting until the odds get a little better to place my bet. Just before post time I hope to get 2 to 1.Lol Bob. You know me too well.

Good,OK, CX Randy, you're our stand in Randy tonight so how about a Start Time of 11:30?
Geoff

But you're not supposed to start the session yourself. Geoff will start it and you'll have to find it under the Live session and join when the counter shows 11:30.Good,
Edit It has popped up in BSim thanks
7.50pm warm up yes?
Have you given the DD anymore thought? I am going to do it, barring a tropical storm. As the long one is the same price as the shorter version, I'll just drop down to that on the day should the weather be rubbish, my fitness be drastically below that required or I fall off again.
You definitely should, as you could potentially do every single one since its emergence last year, and become a regular. I can see it gathering quite a following in years to come.
Yes, at least for the handicap races. The result of riding the time trial way is a fairly big speed reduction, but also a slight reduction of avg. watts. It is closer to reality though, speed still a little to high and watts a little to low.Special pleading!
I think Lars has changed his riding style and trailed in last in the Saturday handicap. Hopefully he won't revert to his usual pace and leave you all in the dust... Is there a black flag in Bkool?![]()
Good,

Excellent! Glad to hear it. Well you're all booked in!I'd definitely like to do the DD again Adam and most certainly better prepared with clothing and a better strategy. I think shadowing the lead rider or group would be a good move in terms of both direction finding (it wasn't always the easiest for me to see the signs last time) and also in terms of not overdoing it in the early stages like I probably did. Of course it depends who's there but good to start out with a positive attitude. Got the tri bars now so would hope to get some benefit from them. Probably eating while riding would also help which for me last time was a big fail.
I'm getting fired up just thinking about it.![]()
Well it's got my juices flowing!Stage 4 is quite deceptive in a good waymost of it is down hill. Enjoy
btw miles 26-28 can bite

Geoff, sorry to have to kop out but just finished a circuits class and feel a bit iffy. Think last nights mountain stage took a fair bit out of me.
Ps: this talk of pulsing technique in the chaingang races -I'm sticking to constant effort.
