Wasn't quick enough at the start to join in all that drafting fun

Great race again though ^_^ - thanks for a good battle there @Roleur1 - you were just too strong for me at the end, I gave it all I had!

Really enjoyed it up to the 6th minute. And then along with 3 others I got thrown out of the session and sent to Coventry to complete the session on my own.
Is this a known bug in the live environment, as this is my 3rd attempt at the chain gang races and all have ended this way.

I was with CXRandy up to the 6th minute, could you see me all the way to the end??

Off for a shower now...

Damn, I really felt I had a lot of power left for the sprint, but I ran into one of those BKool glitches. First my speed was halved then my watts. It seemed to regain speed a few meters from the finish,(strangely still with my watts still halved), but then it was too late.
Still, great race though. Best teamwork so far:hugs:

That's a real shame Ste was a bit of drafting going on until there. Think the same thing must have happened to BenH. Enjoyed that one.

I thought you were off for a sprint a few times Bill:bicycle: :bicycle::bicycle:

It probably looked that way. Actually I hit a mini wormhole at one point where I shot forward and then stopped dead. Another one was when I knew we had to slingshot up a hill to stay where we needed to be and fortunately you did the and Lars same.
Pity about that hill Rick or you'd have probably stayed until the end. Unfortunately drafting doesn't seem to work very well uphill. Best third place I've ever got.

Yes I passed you but a little later you came passed me again. The latter stages were tough and a little bit of a blur. I developed a stitch at mile 6 (my fault ate tea too late). Hung in there and got a couple of places in the last mile or two. Great session with 96% effort. I still have this issue of 400 watts and ridiculous slow speed off the line. I was 25th place and lost a bunch of seconds to everyone

AAAC got to within 3 seconds of us at one point but I thing the drafting on the flat and downhill just gave us too much of an advantage. Bob thanks for your "He's coming!" when he was exactly 3 seconds behind us. You know how to get me relaxed:eek:.
Yes great teamwork:hugs:. Hope you don't feel picked on AAAC, but I can't see us pulling this one off again anytime soon.

Geoff would've been proud of us
