If the way my legs feel are anything to go by, I'll be lucky to catch up with anyone tonight. I will of course try. Just saying, and am not in any way grovelling to try and get a better start time. I made my own bed last week and will lie in it

Going by the amount of Bkool climbing you've been doing recently I'm not surprised! And it's kind of reassuring that you feel fatigue in some way like us mere mortals!

Having said that you've said similar before and still managed to ride like a man possessed, so I'll definitely still be looking nervously over my shoulder from the moment I see you've joined the race!

Last go at this steady climb for a while, after two previous runs Handicaps should be fairly well tuned, so I'm hoping for a close finish! :okay:

Need to look for a higher speed session with lots of drafting. Flat or gently downhill, to avoid to much freewheeling!

Will check out this weeks Chain Gang, to see if it is more suitable than Stage 1, but it may be a bit long for some (> 1 hour).

I'm very surprised by how much motion I can get out of my shoulder. Just over a week after the accident and with a massive bruise on my shoulder I can get my arm to about 125 degrees from straight down, before it starts to hurt.

I started the warm up bang on time, but it went straight into a 10 second countdown, so I quit and restarted it before anyone joined the session. That means it is almost a minute behind. I will try and get it start at 8:00, but it's always best if you join on the time underway, rather than using a clock or watch.

And as for you Soarer! Were you implying that your achievement of not having had tea yet, was surpassing my efforts in this race? Because that was very much how it came across. And the image in my head of you wallowing around in a bath of jelly babies was less than motivational....and you criticize my motivational speeches?:okay:
