Great watching the race tonight. @Goldwolfie was on fire. Fought really hard to hold @Breedon off who pushed him all the way to the line and nearly had him at the very end. Great riding guys!

Yeah I was a minute behind you for ages then suddenly seemed to take chunks out of you - think you must have dug in again to hold me off! Great ride - just goes to show, even the downhill rides are bloomin hard in the league!

106% effort for me tonight - that's the hardest I've raced...not sure how I found the strength on the last 5 miles my legs were burning. Thanks for the dice up Insomina.

Yeah I was a minute behind you for ages then suddenly seemed to take chunks out of you - think you must have dug in again to hold me off! Great ride - just goes to show, even the downhill rides are bloomin hard in the league!

Yeah was dying and all but gave up but then the gap seemed to hold steady again! Nothings easy on Bkool!

Wow! that was tough. For some reason I thought I had the upper hand about 3/4 way through but LB kicked my 4ss at the end. I feel used .

That was hard, partly because I overcooked the start. In my eagerness to be near the front and hopefully get a draft, I went into the red for too long. It took me several miles, just to keep pedaling. I was gasping. I don't think I really get this drafting, I am always overshooting my position.

I eventually caught insomnia, we had a great tussle for quite a few miles.

Tough downhill race.

OH and to top it off I have been demoted to amateur 10

Only kidding. That was an awesome race. I think I missed a slingshot at the end but don't think I could have held off Lars anyway.

Couldn't even watch it properly, my iPad kept booting me out, which was frustrating. Sounds tough, especially since it was all downhill!

The 'downhill' is deceptive, at least I thought so last night. Mostly small % downs which is not that different from a flat. I found it very hard ... even my bulk and gravity didn't help much LOL

That hurt a LOT looking at the profile i thought it would be blue numbers most of the way how wrong was i, the burn in my legs was painful and almost bailed, but trying to get ahead of @Goldwolfie and stay ahead was to much did have a 30 second lead but he brought it back so i tried to be about 10-15 seconds behind ready for the final hill but i got the feeling he knew my plans by the end i was 2 seconds behind but a great race.
Will do the rerun on Saturday
