WTF... good ole Bkool, everything was OK in the warm up I could see everyone, then on the start everyone disappeared (literally).

AAAC and Bill demonstrating perfect drafting. If they can keep this up...

If only! But it was great while it lasted. AAAC thanks for the epic tow. Must have been worth at least 5 mins. I struggled at first due to being late into the warmup so only getting about 4 mins. Felt strong later in the ride though. AAAC I don't know if you had the same strange visual of your or my rider shooting backward and forward after you went temporarily missing for a few seconds. I was able to stay in the tow though and generally found drafting you much easier than some previous attempts. Definitely much easier than trying to stay in the draft on Thursday.

Sorry everyone, not sure what happened with my settings. I ended up riding solo, which I must admit was really hard and I nearly bailed on several occasions. Well done & hopefully it all worked ok for everyone else.

@BILL S @RickB @gbrown need to pick your brains to what I might of done with my settings - I could see everyone whilst I was warming up the ride then as soon as it race started I was on my own on the screen, however at the top right hand side of the screen where you can see how many riders / spectator's I could see I was joined by 12 other riders...

I've checked my subscription thinking it might of lapsed but that was ok.

Bloody typical on a stage which was perfect for drafting and I ended up riding solo

In the ride set up there is a tick box. Show competitors maybe that as I've done that before. Maybe?

lost connection and was on my own for the last third what was a bit depressing !! but i now have a question - as i came in from the shed of pain without my top on , my dearly beloved said i looked like skeletor after a bad illness ! prompting me to weigh myself - i have dipped below 10stone now by a bit - if i put my new weight in bkool - will it penalise me even more going downhill ? or should i dive headfirst into keebab city

Breedon you are a machine compared to me :notworthy:. Thank you for the assistance in the first half . It really set me up for the second part.

Whorty, sorry but I had to keep the 20+mph going . I managed to stay above 20 but not by much :wahhey:.

New PB FOR 40K 1:15  :heat: :B) :wahhey:

Now going for a relaxing shower then a rest in a comfy seat
Thanks to both of you. I was conscious that I was really just a passenger. I tried to lead a few times to give you guys a rest, but the way @Breedon shot off after half way I don't think he needed my help!

@theboxers , really appreciated you coming back for me a few times. I knocked over 5 minutes off my previous times and this was 100% due to the help of you two :okay: I do, however, feel as sick as a dog now! xx(

@Whorty how was my drafting skills i do need to perfect it that's for sure, i was comfortable with the pace so was happy to be at the front.
Thought that i would get you to the half way point then do a solo effort, but at mile 13 i could feel a chase down coming on then aimed for jerome whom i caught so was pleased with that.

I think that was my last Chain Gang ride till the clocks go back I've even put away the trainer and everything else much to the wife's delight.
Been a pleasure riding with you all.
