I decided to do some interval training and just stopped before the finish. I don't know why it seems to count in the league?

I did that too at one point! Lost connection and re-joined a few seconds later. In fact I think that was the start of my decline....

Even more agonizing when you cant even get onto the drafting group!!

I hit an airbrake in the first 20 or so seconds, everyone went past me and couldnt get back with the lead group.. Not that I would have stayed with you guys anyway - far higher watts than me these days.

I had the same problem Rick and then I couldn't get with the group and just got more ad more tired trying to keep up. Fortunately AAAC was his usual gentlemanly self and came back to get me. Thanks AAAC. And for the other times you came back too before realising I was a lost cause.

I thought you disappeared too Paul. Initially you disappeared then you were jumping around for a while before disappearing completely. Were you able to see us for the whole ride?

Yep I did it this morning in 39mins 44secs and followed it up with the short league ride up the Col de Madxxxx. That ride is showing in my activities but the velodrome ride hasn't appeared which is a pity as I think I averaged about 340 watts so would probably be due a promotion. Of course it may appear later.

@bills - this morning's velodrome ride has now appeared and it was 39m 44s, which jumped me up from Amateur 9 to Active 3.

Unfortunately I couldn't make tonight's ride as Mrs GW insisted I paint the garage floor today as I'd been putting it off for the last few weeks.

Sounded like a toughie but hope to have a go when I'm set up again.

No Bill, when the connection was lost you all disappeared! You did come back again briefly but you all dropped me at that point anyway I think. I did see you on that bit where the road double backs on itself though as you passed me in the other direction!

Sorry LB but I can't reject your ride. You are stuck with the glory of winning once again . The same has happened to me before when I've stopped short of the line but it's still made it through to the results.
Why do you think there's a problem with your ride?

Interesting that my name is still showing as "Bridgy80kg", despite me having changed my weight back to normal and also having changed my name back to "Bridgy". I did this straight after Tuesday's handicap race and it's showing correct in my profile and was showing as just "Bridgy" on BSim. I notice it's a similar siuation for AAAC and LBHIFI. This is weird but I don't know if it's significant. Can you see what my weight's set at as an admin Bill? I can usually click on the ride details in the league table and it shows my weight on that ride but that's not currently working on the website.

I wonder if this is linked to what Geoff was saying about Jim's weight in the handicap ride?

Too late Lars. I'd popped on and approved any rides that were completed. Just checked again and yours did come up as complete.

I hope you all enjoyed that little jaunt .

It was 3rd time lucky for me . I tried to do it last week and it crashed out on me after about 45 minutes . Tonight just as @Whorty and I were getting into our stride with a draft the pc crashed out . By the time I got back on the session everyone was about 10 minutes and more up the road .

It was a case of head down and see what happens. Feel totally beaten at the moment .

Time for a glass of recovery juice
