Aleman
Knees are FUBAR but I don't like to mention it
Whats 6 seconds between friendsSorry about that Aleman. I used the computer time to join the session at what I thought was the right time.

We'll get this right one of these days Keith. Not sure what happed but you obviously slowed to let me catch up but then once caught up I couldn't stay with you as you were too fast and you ended up a few seconds ahead again, then I think you waited again and I caught up but then you seemed to disappear and were showing as 2 minutes behind so I thought you must have stopped. It might have worked better if you set off at the same time as me and we could work together from the start, although not sure if that's allowed in the rules. Fortunately for me I didn't have to wait long for Paul and AAAC to come along and give me a tow that I could only just barely hold onto. Towards the end I couldn't even get enough air into my lungs whereas normally its my legs that give in.

Oh that's annoying - I thought the moving time would be exactly that! Anyone know if there's any way of getting those extra stats on a ride that you can get by clicking on your own time on a league ride (even though this isn't a league ride)? I think that shows how much time you were stationary or at "low velocity"......Unfortunately, the Moving Time is wrong and includes all the time you sat on the line! Seems daft, but I'll have to go through the video and try and get the time you actually started for every rider and subtract it from the Moving Time! What a nightmare...
At the risk of sounding a bit dumb...for these handicaps are we menat to use the elapsed time shown on the bsim as our start time? I used the actual clock time (which may explain why I started before the likes of Keith who was meant to start before me).
It was a bit of a lonely furrow for me too until the last couple of kms when I had Bill and Bridgy for company, but I didn't have enough left in the tank for the sprint finish!
Was a great race though. I love these handicap races! Well done to all
Off to collapse now.
I agree it was much better. the only question is do we use real time or bkool time. I used bkool time only to find I think @peterob 30 seconds ahead of me rather than 5 behind me. This wouldn't have helped when I had a glitch that ruined tonight for me, but we should decide on which time to use.
I was hoping you'd stay the course, you was my carrotBlooming heck! Off to lie down...and I didn’t even finish
Despite being way back in the field, i enjoyed that. I was making some good watts, just need to build on this nowVery good handicap today Geoff. AAAC magnanimous as ever, very close finish for most. Carl bravely fought hard to hold a Bkool wheel
.as did Tommy and Bob. Interesting numbers
Ah! That explains it!Unfortunately, the Moving Time is wrong and includes all the time you sat on the line! Seems daft, but I'll have to go through the video and try and get the time you actually started for every rider and subtract it from the Moving Time! What a nightmare...
I usually do a time update via an internet timeserver before racing in bkool, but didn't have the time this time (loads of "time" thereMy PC time, BSim time and WiFi updated clock time are all different.

Perfect analysis Bill and yes when we do get it right we'll be bloody unstoppable, young children will scream with fight and forever more people will say "yes, I was there the day Keith and Bill got it together and rode @bridgy and @AAAC 76C into early graves! I wouldn't hold your breathe though, I suspect it may never happen! Last Thursday i felt a bit tired and couldn't hold on to you, @Aleman and @perswe but tonight I felt strong. Yes, I realised that Peterob and I having syncronised our starts and the best thing was not to try to chase him at 30 seconds down but to ride a strong tempo trying not to make too much effort, let you catch me and then work together. I tried to dig in to give you a breather once you caught me but it was a bit too much so I eased a bit again and we were just starting to get it together when my guy decided to stop pedalling and I got the message asking if I wanted to stop or to restart to keep pedalling....which i was ! when it did restart I was 10 seconds behind Bridgy and AAAc and realised the only option was to try and catch them and hopefully be dragged up to you: of course the effort required to pull back 10 seconds on them meant i couldn't hold onto them once I caught them. Ho hum! let's see what happens on Thursday, i ahve alot of rage that needs to be let out, I hope it's Thursday's climb that gets beaten to a pulp! We'll get this right one of these days Keith. I used the bkool clock that i think shows the minutes and seconds after the first person starts, i started at 08:50, my handicap and though i took a second for my guy to move, if we all used that at least we'd be in the right order with the right time differences between us. It would just mean that everybody had to be on the line before the first guy starts and it doesn't matter if he starts at 20:00:24 or 19:59:50 in reality.I used my watch simply because the bsim clock doesn't show seconds and I had to start at 10.50. Probably do need to find a way of synchronising clocks or something......
I was hoping you'd stay the course, you was my carrot![]()
Buggers up the ave watts etc too ... i was struggling to understand why my ave watts were so low for ages, then it clicked that I sat on the line doing about 70 watts for 7 minutes d'ohUnfortunately, the Moving Time is wrong and includes all the time you sat on the line!
