If anyone's interested, I'm running these events again this year on Saturday 1st September. The 200 is more or less the same as last year, with a few minor tweaks, but the 110 is a substantially revised and improved route, now with a halfway control at Woodchurch.

There is also a new addition this year: a Century (100 miles/160km) for those who think 200km is too much but 110km is not enough.

Open for entry until 27th August...

It will be a beautifully clear, calm and sunny day - but not too warm either - with a light tailwind around the whole route.

Just quoting that for future reference in the case of non delivery.

I have entered this. Never done an Audax before, so best get it done before I get old!!

Would be my first, but am interested as I have fancied doing one for a while..

Damn, I'm cycling in foreign climes that weekend. Otherwise I would have signed up.

Tempted. Very tempted.

It's on again.

One thing to note for those still thinking about whether or not to ride: entries close on 27th August - unfortunately, I don't have a legion of helpers so I won't have the capacity to process entries on the line, hence I need to be quite strict about that.

First control on the 200 and Century is at Bloomsbury's in Biddenden, who have promised to provide a cyclists' breakfast - need to finalise details of this with them but it will be something along the likes of a bacon roll and a coffee for a fiver. It's a lovely café and the full breakfast menu is fab (they also do excellent cakes) but because they cook everything to order, that won't suit riders who don't want to be delayed. So the cyclists' breakfast will be a quick and easy option for those who just want to get their card stamped and keep moving.

The 110 isn't going to Biddenden this year - instead there's a halfway control at the Rare Breeds Centre in Woodchurch.
