Seems to be a plethora of Chinese SUVs hitting the market. All very high spec and relatively low price. The likes of Landrover should be worried about their shopping trolley models.
The Jaecoo is apparently outselling the popular Qashqai. My main issue would be parts availability, but seeing as most cars are on a lease, and the Chinese are doing cheap lease deals, it's not going to be the first driver's issue. Might be for the next owner.
Seeing as theyre very robust, and without ICE to worry about are soooo much less prone to breaking down, even a limited parts supply shouldn't be a major problem.
I'm idly contemplating my next company car. There's a big Omoda SUV that has a very attractive tax rate of £93 or so a month. My current Rav4 costs me £231 a month.
