Blundeston - the state of constantly dropping Allen keys while working on a bicycle.

Offwell - a difficult manoeuvre performed during an accident resulting from a car pulling out in front of the rider from a side junction. An Offwell is awarded when the rider manages to carry out a forward roll over the bonnet of the car, finishing on their feet with their arms extended to the sides in the T position.

Extra points are awarded for riders who manage to twist while rolling the bonnet, thus facing the car driver upon completing the Offwell.

The Offwell is best practiced using BMWs and Audis due to the reduced risk of distraction by flashing front indicator lights.

Potter Brompton - to ride like a clown. Knees should be extented out to the sides and giant shoes should be worn. Although difficult to source nowadays, to look like a proper Brompton rider a spinning bow tie and squirty flower should be worn.

Potter Heigham - to ride a grown up’s bicycle.

Priston - a rider who breezes past you without the slightest acknowledgement that you even exist.

Rathlacken - the freewheel removal tool that isn’t quite up to the job.

Rathmore - the impossibly long extension bar which, when slotted onto the Rathlacken, enables the home mechanic to remove the freewheel.
