08624 outside the Freightliner depot in Ipswich on 30th May.
Although the majority of the enormous fleet of 08s have long since been retired, the few survivors seem to have found themselves a useful niche in yards and depots such as this, and I can imagine we might continue to see them for some years to come.

My maternal gran used to live about 10 miles from Hythe and when we visited, I always insisted on being taken down there for a ride on the RHDR as a child.
